Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the most common questions about ArchCE Hub.
Last updated: May 2, 2026Getting Started
ArchCE Hub is a continuing education tracker built specifically for licensed design professionals — architects, landscape architects, and interior designers. It tracks CEU credits across multiple state licenses, calculates renewal deadlines, and generates the board-ready PDF logs your state may require — all in one place.
Is there a free tier? No. Every new account
gets a 30-day free trial of ArchCE Pro when you verify your
email. After the trial ends, your account moves to
read-only mode — you can still log in, view your records,
and export your backups, but you can't add new courses or
licenses until you subscribe.
Check your spam or junk folder first. Login codes expire after 15 minutes, so request a fresh one if needed. If the problem persists, your email provider may be filtering messages — try adding our sender address @archcehub.pro to your contacts.
Go to your profile page and choose "Set up authenticator app." Scan the QR code with any authenticator app (Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.). Once set up, you log in with your app code instead of waiting for an email.
Tracking Licenses & CEU Progress
Go to Licenses → Add License. Enter your state, license number, and the date you received the license. You can add as many licenses as you hold.
All design-licensing jurisdictions we currently cover: all 50 states plus DC, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands — across architects, landscape architects, and interior designers.
Each jurisdiction uses its own rules — some renew on a fixed calendar date, others on your license anniversary, others based on your birth month, and a few group licenses alphabetically by last name. ArchCE Hub applies the correct rule for each state automatically.
Yes. Several jurisdictions (including Arizona, Maine, North Dakota, and Pennsylvania) have no mandatory CE hours. Add your license to track its renewal. You can still log courses and download a record of your professional development.
- Green — Complete: your hours are fulfilled for the current period.
- Blue — On Track: you're making good progress with time to spare.
- Orange — Warning: your deadline is approaching and hours may be short.
- Red — Critical: your deadline is very close.
- Dark red — Overdue: the deadline has passed or you are significantly behind.
Uploading Certificates
PDF only. Most course providers issue PDF certificates, but if yours is a different format you can add the course manually without uploading a file.
When you upload a PDF, the AI reads the document and pulls out the provider name, course title, credit hours, credit type, and completion date. You review the extracted data before saving — so you're always in control of what goes into your record.
On the review screen you can edit any field before saving. If the AI extraction failed entirely, you can fall back to basic text extraction or enter the details manually. The original PDF is always attached to the course record regardless.
Yes. Use Courses → Add Course to enter all the details by hand. You can attach a certificate file later if you have one.
Pro+ users can upload up to 12 PDF certificates at once from the Upload Certificate page. Drag-and-drop or click to select multiple files. Each file is processed separately by the AI and queued for your review.
About 10 seconds per file, so 5 certificates takes roughly 50 seconds and a full batch of 12 takes about 2 minutes. The status page shows a per-file progress table and a progress bar — stay on the page until the "Review All Certificates" button appears.
It's an approximation. Processing time depends on AI provider load and PDF complexity. Your batch may finish faster or take a little longer. The status table updates in real time so you can see exactly which files are still running.
Each file is handled independently. On the status page, failed files show a Retry button. You can retry AI extraction, or on the individual review screen choose basic text extraction instead. Failures in one file don't affect the others in the batch.
No — processing continues in the background. Return to the Upload Status page or your batch URL to check progress. If the batch session has expired (you were away for a very long time), a message will say so and link you back to upload the files again.
Unreviewed files are held in temporary storage until the batch expires. You can return to the batch review flow and complete them. If you click "Discard Remaining" on the exit screen, those files are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Generating CEU Logs & Reports
Go to CEU Logs → Generate Report, choose a license and reporting period, and click Generate. The report is built as a downloadable PDF. If you are Pro+ the PDF is also saved to your account in case you need it later.
Yes, states like Texas (TBAE log), Nevada (NSBAIDRD form), and Missouri (APELS form) each have state-specific forms and it will be generated based on which CEUs you want to show. All other states receive a clean generic CEU log with your course records. Pro and Pro+ have the option to attach certificates to the form.
Yes (Pro and Pro+ plans). After generating a report, use the Share button to create a secure link. Anyone with the link can view or download the PDF — no account required. You can revoke the link at any time.
On ArchCE Pro, every generated report is saved to your account under CEU Logs and can be re-downloaded at any time. Read-only / terminal-state users can still generate new reports from their frozen compliance data and re-download saved reports.
Plans & Billing
When your trial ends (or you cancel your subscription and
the paid period elapses) your account moves to read-only
mode. You can still log in, view your records, generate
CEU reports and audit packets from your frozen compliance
data, and download your backup ZIP. You cannot add new
courses or licenses or upload certificates. Subscribe at
any time to restore full access.
Everything ArchCE offers: automatic certificate extraction (no manual typing), state-specific CEU logs with attached certificates, shareable report links, the renewal alert dashboard, custom alerts, bulk certificate uploads, unlimited licenses, AI-assisted report verification, duplicate CEU detection, and email support.
Saved PDF reports on your account, custom renewal reminder thresholds, AI-assisted verification of your log against state requirements, duplicate CEU detection across a two-year window, and priority email support.
Go to Plan & Billing and click the plan you want, or use "Open Payments Portal" to manage your subscription through Stripe — where you can also update billing details, view invoices, or cancel.
Yes. Every new account gets a 30-day ArchCE Pro trial
when you verify your email. The trial activates silently and
unlocks AI-powered certificate extraction, state-specific
exports, sharing, and renewal alerts. After 30 days, if you
haven't subscribed, your account moves to read-only mode.
You can restore full access by subscribing, redeeming a
promo code, or earning a Pro+ grant via the referral
program.
Pro and Pro+ users can generate a personal referral link from the dashboard's "Share & Earn" panel. When a friend signs up using your link and verifies their email, your account is upgraded to Pro+ for 12 months at no charge. You can have up to two outstanding codes at a time (each valid for 30 days), and a second successful referral extends your Pro+ access by another 12 months — up to a 24-month cap. Paying Pro+ subscribers receive the reward as a 100%-off Stripe coupon applied to their next 12 months of renewals.
The referral reward is only applied while the referrer is on Pro or Pro+. If your account was in read-only mode at the moment your friend verified their email, the code is consumed but no Pro+ grant fires. You'll have received a "reward not applied" email explaining this. Once you're back on Pro/Pro+, you can share another code.
Visit
/promos/redeem while logged in, paste the code, and click Apply. Successful redemption upgrades your account to the plan and duration encoded in the code. If you're already on the same tier or higher, the code is not consumed — save it for later.
Yes. Complimentary Pro+ grants (from referrals, promo codes,
or campaign offers) are unaffected by the read-only rework.
They unlock full Pro features for their duration, and when
they expire your account moves to read-only mode — not to a
perpetual free tier. To restore full access, subscribe,
redeem another promo code, or earn a new Pro+ grant via the
referral program.
Account & Data
Open the account menu (your name, top right) and click Download Backup. You'll receive a ZIP file containing all your course records, license data, and uploaded certificates in a portable format.
Yes — there's no limit. Each license tracks its own period, hours, and deadline independently. The dashboard shows a status summary for all of them at a glance.
On Pro+ plans, ArchCE Hub checks whether a course you're adding has already been recorded within the past two years (matching on provider name and course title). This prevents accidentally counting the same course twice across renewal periods.
