Cookie Notice
What cookies are used on ArchCE Hub, who sets them, and why.
Last updated: April 12, 2026 CE Logix LLC · Richardson, TX- Only necessary cookies are used. ArchCE Hub does not use advertising cookies or track you across other sites.
- Cloudflare sets security cookies as your traffic passes through their infrastructure. These are strictly functional and do not build advertising profiles.
- Stripe may set cookies on pages where payment features are active, for fraud prevention and secure checkout.
- Disabling cookies will break login. Session cookies are required for authentication; blocking them will prevent sign-in.
This Cookie Notice explains how ArchCE Hub uses cookies and similar technologies in connection with the site.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small data files placed on your browser or device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — such as session tokens and local storage — may also be used for session management, security, and basic site operation.
2. How We Use Cookies
ArchCE Hub uses cookies and related technologies primarily for essential site functions, such as:
- sign-in and session management;
- account authentication and security;
- CSRF protection for form submissions;
- protecting against unauthorized access and abuse; and
- supporting reliable operation of the application.
3. ArchCE Hub Cookies
The following cookies are set directly by ArchCE Hub:
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
session
|
Maintains your authenticated login session, stores temporary authentication state (OTP, TOTP), and keeps you signed in between page loads. Required for the site to function. | Until browser closes or session expires |
The session cookie is HTTP-only and transmitted over HTTPS only. It does not contain personal data directly — it holds an opaque identifier that maps to your session on the server.
4. Cloudflare Cookies
ArchCE Hub uses Cloudflare as its infrastructure provider. All traffic to and from this site passes through Cloudflare's network, which acts as a reverse proxy providing DDoS protection, a Web Application Firewall, and content delivery services.
As part of these services, Cloudflare may set the following cookies directly on your device. These cookies are set by Cloudflare's infrastructure, not by ArchCE Hub, and are governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
__cf_bm
|
Bot management — distinguishes human visitors from automated traffic to prevent abuse and protect site availability | 30 minutes | |
__cfruid
|
Rate limiting and abuse prevention, particularly for connections that share an IP address | Session | |
cf_clearance
|
Records that a security challenge was passed. Only set if Cloudflare's threat detection triggers a challenge for your connection. | 30 minutes | |
_cfuvid
|
Rate limiting per individual user when multiple users share an IP address, used to apply rate limits fairly | Session |
These cookies are strictly functional. They do not track browsing activity across other websites, build advertising profiles, or identify you personally across sessions beyond their security purpose.
For a complete and current list of Cloudflare cookies and their data handling practices, see Cloudflare's cookie documentation.
5. Stripe Cookies
Optional supporter and subscription features may be provided through Stripe. On pages where Stripe payment features are active, Stripe may set its own cookies or use similar tracking technologies to support secure payment processing and fraud prevention. These include session identifiers and fraud-detection signals used to verify legitimate payment activity.
Stripe's cookies are set and controlled by Stripe and are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. ArchCE Hub does not control or have access to these cookies.
6. No Advertising Tracking
ArchCE Hub is a functional application for professional CEU recordkeeping. It does not use advertising cookies, third-party behavioral tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking for consumer marketing purposes. No cookies are sold or shared with advertising networks.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is used in production for aggregate site performance data. This service is privacy-focused by design: it does not set cookies on your device and does not track individual visitors across sites or build user profiles.
7. Managing Cookies
Most browsers allow you to control cookies through browser settings. You can typically:
- view cookies that have been set;
- block cookies from specific sites;
- delete cookies that have already been set; or
- configure your browser to notify you before accepting cookies.
Important: Blocking or deleting the session cookie will prevent you
from signing in and will end any active session. Essential cookies cannot be disabled without
breaking core site functionality. Cloudflare security cookies also cannot be meaningfully opted
out of, as they are set at the network infrastructure level before requests reach our servers.
Browser-specific instructions for managing cookies can typically be found in your browser's Help documentation under Privacy or Security settings.
8. Changes to This Notice
We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time. Changes become effective when posted, unless another effective date is stated. Material changes will be communicated in the same manner described in our Privacy Policy.
